D5 HANDGUN FOUNDATIONS

Disruptive Science, or D5, is designed as a foundational course to accelerate the learning curve of all students regardless of background or experience level. Haley Strategics curriculum is deeply rooted in a scientific approach to the fundamentals of shooting and grounded in sports performance. This is a one-day foundational course that will give an introduction on the science of the human body, brain, and handgun performance. Handgun shooting and performance has its own unique challenges due to the weapon system itself and how we integrate that system into the mechanics of the human body. The D5 Foundation curriculum is an introduction to the human factors that affect both learning and performance. Once we develop a greater understanding of the body and brain, we then progress to the application of the handgun including thinking, shooting and overall manipulation of the system.
