Lowcountry Range Days is an open enrollment firearms training event. The focus is to provide education of defense firearms techniques while building a community of like-minded resilient people in a safe environment.

Participants will receive two days of training from vetted industry professionals and exposure to current product lines from industry manufacturers in the sponsor bays. There will be event check-in and a Lowcountry boil welcome dinner the evening of October 25th for all participants to meet each other as well as the instructors and staff. Free grab bag with event T-shirt, patches and more for all participants. *Participants will make course requests at time of registration.
Donnie Walker is a retired Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Swimmer living in Savannah Georgia. After serving the Lowcountry for 8 of his 20-year career he wanted to continue to have an impact in his community, leading to the creation of the inaugural Lowcountry Range Days event. Many things, including the name and artwork, are inspired by his years of service and made possible from partnerships and relationships forged during that time.
Founder, owner and lead instructorof Greenline Tactical, Don Edwards is a 20+ year veteran of US Army Special Operations. He began his career in the 3rd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment where he was a participant in Operation Just Cause in Panama. Retired from 20th Special Forces Group where he served as Team Sergeant during combat operations in Iraq and Intel Sergeant while deployed in Afghanistan. He served for five years as the Use of Force training manager and primary instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA instructing in tactics and firearms as well. Mr. Edwards has worked as tactical adviser in the field to the Department of Defense since 2008 serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan and is a FLETC certified firearms instructor and is the former Director of Training and LE sales for Tactical Night Vision Company.
Joining the Haley Strategic team in 2018, Jared now serves as the Director of Training. Husband to an incredible wife, and father of 3, Jared attributes his family to teaching him most about life, love, devotion, and about himself. A life-long learner, scientist, and educator, he is dedicated to passing on his personal discoveries and lessons learned to fellow Americans in order to better themselves, to build a better community, a better country, and a better world. His passion comes to light in challenging others to chase their purpose and find (or understand) their WHY.
Jon is the owner of Kinetic Consulting. Teaching for the last 9 years Jon blends the performance and tactical worlds together to teach students from all walks of life, civilian, law enforcement, military and security industry.Jon served with 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, deploying multiple times in various capacities. Upon leaving the Army, Jon worked in executive protection and acted as a law enforcement consultant.Jon comes to the firearms industry with an ideal blend of military and citizen; shaping his courses to apply to Mil, LE and citizen students alike.
The Director of Training for Blue Force Gear Inc., Chris joined the company after twenty years in the Army. He served 16 years in the 75th Ranger Regiment followed by 4 years with the Defense Intelligence Agency. Chris is probably best known for either imbibing too much on various podcasts, or not doing that and being exceptionally forgettable. Chris’s take on optimal techniques and procedures with pistols and carbines can be best described as... well, take the class and describe it afterwards yourselves.
Sam Houston is a lifelong student of the gun, and a strong advocate and believer that citizens of this country should have access to the same training and technology used by our military and Law Enforcement. Sam started his career in 2001 as an Aircrewman in the Navy then as an Overseas Private Military Contractor and in the Air and Army Natl Guard deploying over a dozen times around the globe from Africa to Afghanistan. In 2015, he began working for Don Edwards of Greenline Tactical as an Adjunct Instructor and in 2017 was hired by John Lovell of Warrior Poet Society as a firearms instructor and continues to work for both entities to this day. Sam has a long history within the NV technical and training sector spanning over 2 decades with the Military, Tactical Night Vision Company and Greenline Tactical. He continues to develop sought after Firearms, Night Vision, and Aviation Training curriculum for Law Abiding citizens, Military and Law Enforcement. Sam is in this for the love of the game, helping good people become better citizen defenders of freedom. He looks forward to seeing you on or above the range soon.
INSTRUCTOR: SAM HOUSTON
This 1-day course is the foundation that all future rifle training will rest upon. Safety, range etiquette, weapon operation, sling management and setup, fundamentals of marksmanship, shooting/ready positions, target transitions, clearing of stoppages, rapid fire, and winning mindset are the main subjects touched upon in this essential course.
INSTRUCTOR: DON EDWARDS
Learn to engage targets from 100 to 600 yards with your scoped AR15 rifle, the gap between the Rifleman and the Sniper. The ideal rifle and scope combination for this course is an AR15 with a 14.5 inch barrel or greater and with a scope of 8X magnification or more. A ballistic reticle such as a Horus is preferred. Please have reticles that are Mil, not MOA only.
INSTRUCTOR: CHRIS SIZELOVE
Two four-hour blocks, the first will start with fighting from prone, often viewed (and practiced) as an administrative task for zeroing purposes or done in some type of cathartic fashion, this is NOT that. Followed by “Malfunction Junction," focused on skills and techniques needed to fix the gun, under all conditions, in order to get back in the fight.
INSTRUCTOR: JON DUFRESNE
Learn what, why, and how to carry a firearm and properly employ it safely. Performance pistol is a blended course between performance/practical shooting and defensive base shooting. It covers subjects like self-diagnostics, the importance of vision to help push students to a higher level.
INSTRUCTOR: JARED SEAGRAVES
Disruptive Science, or D5, is designed as a foundational course to accelerate the learning curve of all students regardless of experience. This is a one-day foundational course that will give an introduction on the science of the human body, brain, and handgun performance.
